Andy Monk was born and raised in New York City, and currently lives and works in Kingston, NY. He has an MFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Andy’s work has long incorporated themes of home, place, and belonging and was very personal until taking a sharp political turn after the 2016 election. His most recent body of work focuses on societal structures, examining the American political apparatus and the manipulation of our electoral system.
